The tonAtelier GmbH & Co. KG, Zehnmorgenstrasse 48-50 in 60433 Frankfurt/Main, represented by its general partner: tonAtelier Verwaltungs-GmbH, Zehnmorgenstr. 48 – 50 in 60433 Frankfurt/Main (hereinafter: tonatelier) is the operator and responsible party for the data processing of the website www.tonatelier.de. For further contact details, please refer to the website imprint
The use of the website and the offers of tonatelier partly requires the collection, processing and use of certain personal data. We place the highest value on data protection and data security and comply with the relevant data protection regulations.
Collection and storage of personal data.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, address, telephone number, date of birth or e-mail address).
Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, arrangement, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of your data. All this is done exclusively in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
To a certain extent, we collect and store data that accumulates during the use of the website
(usage data, see section 1). We collect and store personal data insofar as you transmit it to us in connection with the use of our online offer, e.g. when processing inquiries by e-mail (inventory and content data, cf. item 2.).
Usage data
Merely visiting tonatelier’s website does not require prior registration on the website. In this case, the following information is automatically transmitted by your Internet browser and stored by us in so-called log files:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of your access to our web pages
- Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
- Website you are visiting
- Access method/function requested by the requesting computer
- Input values transmitted by the requesting computer (e.g. file name)
- Access status of the web server (file transferred, file not found, command not executed, etc.)
These log files are stored by us for a maximum of 60 days exclusively for the purpose of investigating faults and for security reasons (e.g. to clarify attempted attacks) and are then deleted. Log files whose further storage is required for evidentiary purposes are exempt from deletion. These are stored until the final clarification of the respective incident and may, in individual cases, be forwarded to investigating authorities for the purpose of identifying and tracing unauthorized access to the web server and other criminal offenses. Furthermore, these log files may be evaluated statistically and anonymously by us for the purpose of optimizing our website offering. This anonymous data is stored separately from any inventory and content data you may have provided and thus does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. After the evaluation, this data is deleted.
Inventory and content data
a) If you provide us with personal data via the website, tonatelier basically collects and stores the following data:
- Name
- Telephone number
- e-mail address
In addition, on a purely voluntary basis, you provide us with information that may contain personal data. We list some of these voluntary details below as examples: - Address
- Telephone number
- Age, date of birth
- Nationality
Processing purposes and legal basis
If you send us inquiries by e-mail, we will store the information you provide in the e-mail, including the contact data you provide there, for the purpose of processing the inquiry(s) and in case of follow-up questions.
The processing of the data communicated to us by e-mail inquiry is thus carried out exclusively for the implementation of pre-contractual measures based on your inquiry (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSVGO).
The data you provide in the e-mail inquiry will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your inquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Duration of storage
We store your data for as long as this is necessary to provide our online offer and the associated services or we have a legitimate interest in the continued storage. In all other cases, we delete your personal data.
Cookies
When visiting the website www.tonatelier.de, so-called cookies are used. These are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your Internet browser and allow the recognition of the browser, and through which we receive certain information. They enable us, for example, to make your visit to our website more comfortable and user-friendly. No names, addresses or e-mail addresses are stored in the cookies, only an online identifier. After the end of the respective session, this data is removed from the session; the session cookie is deleted.
If you wish to prevent the use of cookies, your browser offers the option of preventing the acceptance and storage of new cookies. You can find out how this works for the browser you are using, for example, from the browser’s help function. However, with such browser settings, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use all offers without restriction. Please note that objections to the creation of usage profiles partly work via a so-called “opt-out cookie”. If you delete all cookies, an objection may therefore no longer be taken into account and you will have to raise it again.
Transfer of inventory and content data to third parties
We only transfer your personal data to third parties if you have given us your consent to do so, or if this is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, existing contractual relationships or to enforce claims to which we are entitled, or if tonatelier is obliged to do so by law or by court or official order.
We reserve the right to use service providers for the collection or processing of data. Service providers receive from us only the personal data they require for their specific activities. Service providers may also be commissioned to provide server capacity. Service providers are usually integrated as so-called order processors, who may only process personal data of the users of this online offer according to our instructions.
References (links) to other websites
The website www.tonatelier.de may contain links to websites of other providers. After clicking on the link, tonatelier no longer has any influence on the processing of any personal data transmitted to the third party when the link is clicked on (such as the IP address or the URL on which the link is located). tonatelier cannot assume any responsibility for the processing of such personal data by third parties.
Rights of the users
You may assert your rights against us both in writing and by e-mail to info@tonatelier.de. In doing so, please ensure that we are able to clearly identify you.
You have a right to information as well as to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection to the processing of your personal data. The exercise of your right to information is free of charge for you and takes place within one month after receipt of your request.
Furthermore, you have the right to revoke any consent given to us for data processing at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to info@tonatelier.de is sufficient. The
legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
You can also object to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes (“advertising objection”) at any time. Please take into account that, for organizational reasons, there may be an overlap between your revocation and the use of your data in the context of an already ongoing campaign.
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority. To do so, you can contact the data protection authority responsible for your place of residence or the data protection authority responsible for us. This is:
The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information

Data security
Tonatelier uses technical and organizational security measures to ensure that users’ personal data is protected against loss, incorrect modification or unauthorized access by third parties. In any case, only authorized persons at tonatelier have access to your personal data, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes stated above.
Change of the data protection regulations
tonatelier reserves the right to update these data protection regulations. In the event of changes, tonatelier will immediately make the updated data protection provisions available for retrieval via the website www.tonatelier.de and, if necessary, ask you to provide any required consents.
